What Is Vvan Movie About?
Van is an upcoming movie featuring Sidharth Malhotra and Tamannaah Bhatia in the lead roles. Vvan: Force of the Forest centers on a pragmatic, city-raised individual (Sidharth Malhotra) who goes back to his ancestral home and challenges cautions regarding a cursed forest linked to his heritage.
By crossing its boundaries, he unintentionally revives an ancient goddess, compelling him to emerge as the village's protector against mysterious, dark powers.
Vvan Gets Its New Release Date
Sidharth Malhotra and Tamannaah Bhatia’s upcoming mystery thriller Vvan was previously slated to release on 28 August 2026 in cinemas. Interestingly, Kannada star Yash and Kiara Advani’s much-awaited film Toxic is also scheduled for release in the same week.
To avoid box office clash between both the movies, the Vvan makers decided to postpone its release date. Thus, On 9 July 2026, they posted a motion poster which features a brave warrior battling a tiger and a bull while holding a ‘Trishul’ in his hand. In the caption they revealed Vvan new release date i.e, 25 September 2026.
Lead Cast Recent Film
Vvan’s lead star Sidharth Malhotra was last seen in Param Sundari (2025) alongside Janhvi Kapoor. On the other hand, Tamannaah Bhatia appeared in a small role in O’ Romeo (2026) starring Shahid Kapoor and Triptii Dimri.
With its unique fantasy thriller storyline and fresh pairing of Sidharth Malhotra and Tamannaah Bhatia, Vvan has created excitement among fans. The film will now release on 25 September 2026.
