Aditya Dhar's 'Dhurandhar' is experiencing significant success at the box office. In the film, the main actor, Ranveer Singh, portrays an Indian secret agent named Humza Ali Ansari who penetrates the Lyari area in Pakistan.

The film states that the Indian government's Intelligence Bureau devised a long-term strategy to penetrate the terrorist networks, political groups, and gangs of the bordering country. They designate a codename for the operation, referring to it as 'Project Dhurandhar'.

The creators have demonstrated how the government agency enlisted Ranveer Singh's character at the film's conclusion. R. Madhavan portrays IB chief Ajay Sanyal, who is depicted as recruiting Singh's character, Jaskirat Singh Rangi, from death row, where he is incarcerated for a revenge-fueled crime committed in Punjab.

In the film, it is depicted that for the Dhurandhar project, overseen by Ajay Sanyal, the agency selects people who are serving life sentences or facing death, as their vanishing will not arouse any suspicion.

Dhurandhar Surpasses Coolie India Gross Collection

Aditya Dhar’s film Dhurandhar has surpassed Rajinikanth’s Coolie in lifetime box office collections. While Coolie earned Rs 336.2 crore over three weeks in India, Dhurandhar has crossed Rs 450 crore in just 2 weeks.

The film is now also expected to surpass Vicky Kaushal’s Chhaava, which earned Rs 601 crore at the Indian box office.

Dhurandhar has surpassed $17 million internationally as well. The Rs 700 crore milestone is expected to be reached in two or three days. Now the question is if it can surpass the Hindi version records of Pushpa 2.
