Both the comedian and the streaming platform shared the exciting news via social media, with Netflix posting a special video featuring the show's cast, including familiar faces like Archana Puran Singh and Sunil Grover.
Netflix took to Instagram to reveal the news, posting, "Ab shanivaar hoga 'Funnyvaar' ‘cuz Kapil and gang are coming with double fun and hassi iss baar š Season 2 coming soon! Stay tuned." The announcement hints at even more laughter and entertainment in the upcoming season.
