Dark side of Shah Rukh Khan

Shah Rukh Khan is the heartthrob of millions across the globe. He is one of the very few actors to have a massive fan following across the world. He rose up from the ground and today is the known as the King of Bollywood. Fame and popularity has many underlying layers to it. While fame and popularity brings immense love and wealth it also carries a baggage of controversies and rumors. More so because the world has their eyes on your life and for someone as famous as Shah Rukh Khan, it is impossible for him to go unaffected. There is a dark side to every bright story and so here is the dark side of being a celebrity as famous as Shah Rukh Khan -

  • One serious controversy that Shah Rukh had to face and can be termed as the darkest controversy of all times is when Hafiz Saeed invited SRK to Pakistan. It seems like controversies follow our Superstar.  In an interview to Outlook Turning Points, Shah Rukh Khan said, "I sometimes become the inadvertent object of political leaders who choose to make me a symbol of all that they think is wrong and unpatriotic about Muslims in India... I have been accused of bearing allegiance to our neighboring nation rather than my own country..."

Shah Rukh didn’t know then that it would turn out this way. Reacting to his statements, Lashkar-e-Taiba founder Hafiz Saeed invited SRK to move to Pakistan and said that Shaha Rukh could "enjoy all the freedom that he wants in this country. (Pakistan)," This was an uncalled for invitation that did nothing but made some highlights in the news.

  • Shah Rukh has often been reported as a man with temper and that was the reason that got him banned from the Wankhede Stadium. In 2012 The Mumbai Cricket Association (MCA) officials lodged a police complaint against Kolkata Knight Riders' co-owner Shah Rukh Khan for his alleged misconduct at the Wankhede Stadium. They even banned him for life from entering the premises.
The MCA secretary Nitin Dalal reported to the media that "He misbehaved and abused the MCA security personnel as well as MCA officials, including our president Vilasrao Deshmukh, after the IPL match." SRK did not speak about the incident.

  • And this is not all Shah Rukh has been rumored to be linked with not just actresses but even actors in the past by the media. And the actor is neither hesitant nor apprehensive to talk what he feels about it.

Replying to these rumors or let’s say media allegations SRK said, "I'm a movie star, I've been working for 20 years. I work with the most beautiful women in the world. Whether I think of it like that or not, there are enough stories to go around that I sleep around with foreigners, with men, with my co actresses. But it has never affected us because I guess she knows I don't have the time to do anything but work." And this says it all.

  • When you are a celebrity, your actions, habits, likes and dislikes all fascinate the world, while good habits inspire, the bad one’s lead to controversy. And SRK has one really harmful habit, he is a chain smoker. And when the fumes of his smoke rose in the media he answered rather bluntly "I don't sleep. I smoke about a 100 cigarettes a day. I forget to eat. I don't drink water. I have 30 cups of black coffee, and I have a six-pack. So, the less I take care of myself, the more I get taken care of." We give it to him, besides everything his hard work and dedication is unquestionable.
