Peddi is described as centered on a cricket tournament taking place in a rural setting. The cast features Ram Charan along with Janhvi Kapoor, Shiva Rajkumar, Divyendu Sharma, Jagapathi Babu, Boman Irani, among others.

On March 25, the team issued a formal statement responding to worries following the emergence of reports about the incident earlier that day.
The statement made it clear that the injury happened while filming and needed a small medical treatment. Nonetheless, the actor is currently doing fine and is anticipated to rejoin the sets without any interruptions to the filming timetable.
