Akshay Kumar’s Bhooth Bangla was released on 17 April 2026 in theaters. After completing its 8-week theatrical run, Bhoot Bangla is now making its OTT debut on 12 June 2026 with Prime Video.
This horror-comedy earned Rs 253 Crore approximately which made it a clear hit at the box office. Made on a budget of Rs 120 Crore, Bhooth Bangla (one of the Latest OTT Releases This Week) story takes place in Mangalpur, a small town in North India, where brides vanish on their wedding day, according to a legend featuring a demon and a nymph.
Arjun Acharya (Akshay Kumar), who is based in London, travels there upon discovering that he and his sister, Meera (Mithila Palkar), have inherited a fortune, along with an ancient haveli (mansion), from their recently deceased grandfather, Dushyant Acharya (Rajesh Sharma).
