The producers unveiled the initial teaser for Christopher Nolan's 'The Odyssey' on Monday. The trailer depicts Odysseus being shipwrecked with his soldiers and navigating a perilous journey to return home.

He and his troops are likewise depicted within the notorious Trojan horse, which had earlier been hinted at in a six-minute video shown before Imax 70mm presentations of "Sinners" and "One Battle After Another."

Odysseus travels over land, navigates by sea, and journeys through caves, one of which hides a menacingly large creature in the darkness. There are also quick scenes of Holland as Telemachus, Odysseus' son, and Hathaway as Penelope, Odysseus' wife.
