Len Wiseman's fifth film in the John Wick series is set between the events of John Wick: Chapter 3 – Parabellum (2019) and Chapter 4 (2023). In addition to Gabriel Byrne, Catalina Sandino Moreno, and Norman Reedus, Ana de Armas plays the role of ballerina/assassin Eve Macarro in the action thriller.
