Launched on February 7, perfectly timed for Valentine's week, the re-release featured limited promotion but swiftly turned into an unexpected success. The movie generated approximately Rs 15.50 crore net in its opening weekend, setting a record for the highest-ever debut for a Bollywood re-release.
On Day 4, the movie surpassed forecasts, leading the box office with a net collection of about Rs 3.25 crore on Monday. This remarkable figure not only surpassed the Monday earnings of other movies such as Sky Force, Deva, Badass Ravikumar, and Loveyapa but also elevated its total net collection in merely four days to over Rs 18.50 crore—more than twice its initial lifetime revenue.
Nonetheless, given this unforeseen success, the re-release is anticipated to maintain robust performance during Valentine's week, with forecasts indicating a net total of Rs 27-30 crore by the conclusion of its opening week.
