Nilavuku Enmel Ennadi Kobam might seem like a typical romantic film at first glance, but the trailer proves otherwise. With heartbreak, lingering emotions, and a past that refuses to let go, the film follows two couples caught between love and memories.

"This is a typical tale, folks," director Dhanush proclaims at the beginning of the Nilavuku Enmel Ennadi Kobam trailer, yet what transpires in the following 140 seconds is far from typical. The movie centers on two romantic pairs attempting to progress and create a future together, while one individual in each couple is still emotionally attached to their past, struggling to release the memories of their prior relationship with one another.

The promotion starts by presenting Prabhu (Pavish), a cook who becomes enamored with a young lady (Priya Prakash Varrier). Although they seem like a delightful couple, the trailer quickly shows that Prabhu has not moved on from his ex-girlfriend Nila (Anikha Surendran), even though she's about to marry someone else shortly.

The video additionally provides insights into Prabhu and Nila’s history, suggesting potential reasons behind their separation. When their paths unexpectedly intersect once more, feelings surge and tensions rise, leading to more lives becoming involved in the scenario. “I find myself trapped between love and heartbreak,” Prabhu expresses in the concluding scenes, paving the way for an emotional coming-of-age romantic comedy.

Releasing Date Of Nilavuku En Mel Ennadi Kobam

The movie, originally scheduled to release in theaters on February 7, has been delayed. Following the recent news that Ajith’s Vidaamuyarchi is set to premiere on February 6, the producers of NEEK have postponed their film’s release to February 21.

Notably, Dhanush's fourth directorial, Idli Kadais, is also set to premiere this year. The movie featuring Nithya Menen and Rajkiran is set to release in cinemas on April 10.

 

Cast And Crew

Featuring Matthew Thomas, Sarath Kumar Venkatesh Menon, Rabiya Khatoon, Ramya Ranganathan, and Siddharth Shankar in prominent roles, the film is co-produced by Dhanush’s parents, Kasthoori Raja and Vijayalakshmi Kasthoori Raja, under their production company, Wunderbar Films Pvt Ltd.

Featuring music by GV Prakash Kumar, Nilavuku Enmel Ennadi Kobam showcases cinematography by Leon Britto, editing by GK Prasanna, and art direction by Jackie. The movie is set to premiere on February 21. This signifies Dhanush’s third directorial project following the well-received Pa Paandi (2017) and Raayan (2024). The director also has another film, Idly Kadai, in the works.

Nilavuku Enmel Ennadi Kobam promises an emotional rollercoaster filled with love, heartbreak, and second chances. With Dhanush at the helm, this romantic drama is definitely one to watch when it hits theaters on February 21!
