OnePlus Nord will be on Sale in India from August 4

OnePlus Nord is here, after months of rumors, leaks and previews. OnePlus unveiled its new smartphone on Tuesday as part of an unusual augmented reality (AR) show. OnePlus Nord brings the company back to its roots to offer high-quality smartphones with great specifications and an affordable price. It is the first Nord series smartphone that is likely to see more phones in the coming years.

Here are the top 10 things to know about launching OnePlus Nord:

  • OnePlus Nord price in India starts at Rs. 24,999 for the 6 GB RAM base variant. The phone will also be offered in 8 GB and 12 GB RAM models priced at Rs. 27,999 rupees. 29,999, respectively.
  • The OnePlus Nord RAM model comes with 6 GB of 64 GB storage and is exclusive to the Indian market. The company did not share a precise selling date for the model, and just said it would go on sale in early September. The 8 GB RAM model and the 12 GB RAM model in OnePlus Nord will have 128 GB and 256 GB storage respectively. These two options will be the first to go on sale starting August 4 in the Indian market.
  • OnePlus Nord will be sold through, OnePlus Experience Stores and website in the country. The company offers two types of colors: blue marble and gray agate. The 6 GB RAM model will be limited to the gray version only and will not receive the blue version.
  • OnePlus Nord's actual pre-orders (not to be confused with blind-orders before launch) are now open through OnePlus Experience Stores, while Amazon will start receiving pre-orders starting July 28. Additionally, the company will provide Red Cable Club members an opportunity to purchase OnePlus Nord before anyone else on August 3 through and OnePlus Experience Stores. As always, OnePlus Red Cable Club members will receive exclusive offers on their purchases from Nord.
  • OnePlus Nord sales offers include frequent customers of Rs. 2000 discount on purchases made with American Express and Rs cards. 6000 Benefits of Reliance Jio. Customers who pre-order OnePlus Nord on Amazon will also get EMI options at no cost.
  • In addition to India, OnePlus Nord will be sold only in Hong Kong, Malaysia and 28 European markets. Some of the major European markets receiving OnePlus Nord include Austria, Belgium, France, Germany, Poland, Russia, Spain, Sweden and the United Kingdom. OnePlus will also give 50 people in Canada and the United States the opportunity to try Nord as part of a pilot program, although the phone will not be officially launched in the North American markets.
  • In terms of specifications, OnePlus Nord features a 6.44-inch Full HD + AMOLED display. It is powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon 765G SoC capable of supporting 5G connectivity, thanks to its built-in modem. There is also a Corning Gorilla Glass 5 cover on the front. Also, you will get a fingerprint sensor on the screen.
  • On the front side of the battery, there is a 4115 mAh battery that supports Warp Charge 30T. This fast charging technology allows the phone to go from zero to 70 percent in just half an hour.
  • OnePlus borrows some things from the OnePlus 8, one of which is the main camera: 48-megapixel shooter with Sony IMX586 image sensor and f / 1.75 lens. The Quad Camera setting in OnePlus Nord also includes an 8 MP wide-angle shooter, a 5 MP depth sensor and a 2 MP macro camera. Additionally, there are two selfie cameras as part of the hole design. These include a 32-megapixel main shooter and an 8-megapixel wide-angle camera.
  • OnePlus Nord runs on OxygenOS 10.5 based on Android 10 and has already received its first software update in the form of OxygenOS 10.5.1. The company promised to provide two years of software updates and three years of OnePlus Nord security updates, just like the flagship OnePlus phones.
