OnePlus teased the price of the upcoming TV series and also revealed that there would be three TV models. By tweeting, the company indicated that the starting price for upcoming TV models would be Rs. 1X,999, and will go up to Rs. 4X,999. OnePlus has not revealed screen sizes for all three models, and only a few details are known about the features. OnePlus TV models will be unveiled this week, July 2, and are currently available for pre-order on Amazon through the extended warranty offer.
Over the weekend, OnePlus India tweeted about the upcoming TV models and revealed that there will be three Smart TV models at different prices. The initial price, according to a tweet, is Rs. 1X,999, previously teased by the company. There are two other models of televisions at a price of Rs. 2X,999, and Rs. 4X,999 respectively. Although the company did not share the sizes of these TV models, previous leaks lead us to believe in the rupee. 1X,999 OnePlus TV will be a 32-inch HD TV and Rs. 2X,999 will be 43-inch Full HD TV. These TV models are viewed on the Bluetooth SIG website.
The Rs 4X,999 OnePlus TV is supposed to be a 55-inch model. It may come with a 4K display, like the older OnePlus TV Q1 and Q1 Pro, however, some exceptions to the features and specifications can be expected in the upcoming OnePlus 2020 TV series.
As of now, only a few TV features are known. The company’s CEO, Pete Lau, had previously teased that upcoming TV models would come with an “innovative gamma-ray engine” and 93 percent coverage of the DCI-P3 gamut. He also mocked that the upcoming OnePlus TV would have a 95 percent screen-to-body ratio and would be thinner than the OnePlus 8 smartphone series. Plus, the integrated headphones were rotated 90 degrees to 50% deep bass. There is a carbon fiber pattern on the back, and according to a recent tweet by Lau, OnePlus TV supports movie viewing and Dolby Vision, and it pre-loaded the Netflix app. However, it is unclear whether these specifications are unique to the advanced variant of the three OnePlus TV models.
OnePlus TV models are available for pre-order on Amazon and customers can do this by purchasing the extended warranty for Rs. 1,000.
