What Is Pritam and Pedro About?

The series is set in North Goa and follows Pedro (Arshad Warsi), a crime branch officer whose career takes a sudden hit after he makes a major mistake on duty. As punishment, he is transferred from the Crime Branch to the Cyber Cell - a department he knows absolutely nothing about. In fact, Pedro is so clueless about technology that even basic internet tasks feel alien to him.

Things take an interesting turn when Pedro meets Pritam Parkar (Vir Hirani), a brilliant young coder who lands in jail after getting into trouble with a police officer over his grandfather’s missing cassette player. Around the same time, the son of a sports minister goes missing in a high-profile case, and Pedro sees it as his chance to get back into the Crime Branch.

To solve the case, Pedro strikes a deal with Pritam. If Pritam helps him crack the digital mystery, Pedro will help him find the missing tape recorder. But as the two begin investigating, they uncover a much bigger cyber conspiracy. Their search eventually leads them to a dangerous mastermind, with Vikrant Massey playing a key role at the center of the scandal.

In the conclusion, Martin is caught. He goes to his father's grave and contacts Shraddha to express regret, giving back the money he took from her. It’s a moment that humanizes and aligns perfectly with Hirani's characteristic narrative style.

• The dialogues feel natural and also capture Goa’s relaxed vibe quite well.
• Small humorous moments, especially Pedro’s confusion with technology, add a fun layer to the story.
• Vikrant Massey’s entry in the middle episodes adds tension and makes the story more interesting.

What Doesn’t: The show doesn’t aim to be a big or groundbreaking thriller, so viewers expecting high-stakes suspense or major twists may find it too simple.

• The crime investigation takes a backseat at times, as the focus remains more on the characters than the case itself.
• Mona Singh’s role feels underused, and her character could have been explored better.
