We then witness Huma emerge as an enigmatic girl-next-door after a 15-year gap from the tragedy that profoundly affected her. We observe her glancing at unfamiliar people while riding the Mumbai local train in the monsoon season, her gaze hidden beneath a scarf that conceals her face.

Baby Do Die Do is a dark comedy that merges satire with emotional turmoil, and Huma portrays a character who balances between being relatable and absurd. The movie guarantees to highlight her talent for unique storytelling and intricate characters.
Box Office Clash
According to a report from Bollywood Hungama, the release of the action thriller Alpha featuring Alia Bhatt and Sharvari Wagh has been moved up by a week.
The YRF movie, initially scheduled for July 10 release, is now said to be released in theaters on July 3, 2026. If confirmed, this would create a box office clash between Alpha and Huma Qureshi’s Baby Do Die Do.
In Baby Do Die Do, Huma Qureshi makes her production debut with her brother and fellow actor Saqib Saleem. The siblings have started their own production company, Saleem Siblings. Saqib was a co-producer on Single Salma as well.
With a fresh concept, a strong lead performance, and a mix of crime, mystery, and dark comedy, Baby Do Die Do has the potential to stand out among Bollywood's 2026 releases.
