Lock Upp Season 2 Starts Streaming From 27 June On Netflix

The jail gates are opening once again! After years of waiting, Lock Upp is finally returning with a brand-new season, new hosts, and a fresh batch of controversial contestants.

After so many speculations, Netflix has officially released the Lock Upp Season 2 Promo on social media. In the video, people wearing red and white dress are seen marching through several different locations across Mumbai and Delhi.

The post announced that the Lock Upp Season 2 will start streaming from 27 June 2026 on Netflix. 

Lock Upp Season 2 Contestants & Host

It is now clear that the upcoming reality show Lock Upp Season 2 will be available to stream from Saturday to Wednesday at 8PM. If we talk about Lock Upp season 2 contestants, it is yet to be revealed. 

But we have some names which are speculated to participate in the show. It includes Sunita Ahuja (wife of Govinda), Shiv Thakare, and Akanksha Chamola (wife of Gaurav Khanna).

The names are not confirmed by Netflix or any member. According to reports, this year Kangana Ranaut is replaced by Farah Khan and Riteish Deshmukh as host.

Created by Ekta Kapoor and hosted by Kangana Ranaut, Lock Upp season 1 was a hit reality show premiered in 2022. The main reason for its success is that highly controversial faces were part of the show as contestants. Names such as Munawar Faruqui, Prince Narula, Anjali Arora, Payal Rohatgi, and others.

Those who don’t know, Munaqar Faruqui crowned the title of Lock Upp Season 1 and Payal Rohatgi was the first runner up. Now, it is all set to bring that nostalgia with its second season.

With a new platform, possible new hosts, and fresh contestants, Lock Upp Season 2 is gearing up to bring back the drama and entertainment fans loved in the first season. Now all eyes are on Netflix's official contestant reveal.
