Rajshri made her entry into Bollywood with a minor part in Talaash in 2012. She made her comeback to the big screen with a supporting role in Kick. Rajshri earned critical praise for her role in Sacred Games, which gained her extensive recognition.

Rajshri Deshpande Once Called A ‘Adult Star’
Rajshri remembered when she was compared to an adult film star after a bold scene in the Netflix series Sacred Games. In a discussion with Dainik Bhaskar, she mentioned, "The series garnered much acclaim, yet I was labeled a porn star for my intimate scene." An individual interfered with the series scene and posted a video on an adult website. “My images were altered and went viral.”
Why Rajshri Is In Headlines Again?
Rajshri took to social media to disclose that she had been battling breast cancer.
On Wednesday, she posted a picture from her hospital bed to reveal that she has been diagnosed with Grade 1 infiltrating ductal carcinoma (NOS). She mentioned that the condition was found during a standard check-up and was identified early, greatly enhancing her outlook. She also stated that she has had surgery and is currently in recovery.
Her declaration prompted an overwhelming response of support from both the film industry and fans. Actors such as Tilotama Shome and Adarsh Gourav, among others, shared their wishes.
Rajshri Deshpande has built a strong reputation through powerful performances in films and OTT series. Despite her recent health challenge, fans and the film industry continue to support her during recovery.
