What Is Uyir About?
‘Uyir’ centers on Roshan Mathew's character, probationary sub-inspector Ajeeb Rahman, who works at the Dharmadam Police Station in Kannur and is inspired on actual happenings from a police officer's career.
The discovery of an unnamed woman's decomposing body within an abandoned well marks the start of his first significant mission. The rookie cop is taken down an unexpected route as what at first seems to be a regular investigation progressively turns into a complicated case.
Uyir Box Office Collection - Hit Or Flop?
The movie debuted to a rather subdued reaction at the box office. As a serious investigative thriller lacking major star presence or intense pre-release promotion, it was given limited screen time and did not generate considerable excitement among viewers.
