On 12 May, Tuesday, the makers unveiled the Prime Video film System trailer on social media featuring Sonakshi Sinha and Jyotika in the lead roles.
Framed as a captivating courtroom thriller, System delves into a reality fueled by privilege and entitlement, where justice isn't solely defined by verdicts but frequently by facing daunting truths.
What Is The Story Of System?
The narrative centers on two women whose lives are positioned at contrasting ends of the social spectrum. Sonakshi Sinha as Neha Rajvansh is a prominent public prosecutor who exudes authority and confidence, whereas Jyothika as Sarika Rawat operates quietly as a courtroom stenographer, managing a significantly more limited reality.
Their lives intersect in the same legal environment, and what starts as a professional connection slowly evolves into something much more intimate. The convergence of their lives triggers a series of events that tests their convictions, decisions, and self-perception. Through the experiences of Neha and Sarika, System examines how truth can be molded, challenged, and occasionally altered.
System Release Date

If we are talking about Sonakshi Sinha, she was last seen in Nikita Roy (2025) which is a horror thriller film. The film is considered a massive box office flop as it earned hardly Rs 2-3 Crore in India against Rs 20 Crore budget.
She also appeared in Telugu film Jatadhara (2025). The mythological film also failed to impress the audience and was considered a commercial flop.
Further, Jyothika was last seen in Netflix’s crime drama web series Dabba Cartel. Despite mixed reviews, the series crossed 4.6 million views in its first two weeks, which makes it one of the top non-English shows on Netflix globally.
System promises an emotional and suspenseful courtroom drama with powerful performances and meaningful storytelling. If executed well, it could become one of the most talked-about OTT thrillers of 2026.
