Fantastic Four: First Steps Cast

Marvel released the first full trailer for The Fantastic Four: First Steps in April. The almost three-minute video provided fans with their initial glimpse of Julia Garner's enigmatic Silver Surfer.

Scheduled for release on July 25, the movie signifies the formal debut of the four-member superhero group in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) following Disney's acquisition of 20th Century Fox and its properties, including X-Men.

The cast includes Ebon Moss-Bachrach as Ben Grimm, Vanessa Kirby as Sue Storm, and Joseph Quinn as Johnny Storm, in addition to Pedro Pascal as Reed Richards. Sarah Niles, Natasha Lyonne, and John Malkovich round out the cast.

The film will feature the Fantastic Four confronting the villain Galactus. The Marvel movie is created by Kevin Feige and helmed by Shakman, with executive producers Louis D’Esposito, Grant Curtis, and Tim Lewis working behind the scenes.

About Trailer

With precisely one month remaining until the release of Fantastic Four: First Steps on July 25, the final trailer for the film is now available! In the latest trailer, a member of the crowd asks Grimm to say the famous catchphrase, but the Thing replies that the catchphrase is something that's only spoken "just in the cartoon."

The trailer concludes with Storm and the Human Torch (portrayed by Joseph Quinn) bringing the Thing, who has a stylish rock beard, into the fray while insisting he utter his legendary battle-cry.

Pedro Pascal On ‘Fantastic Four' Casting Backlash

Pedro Pascal has finally opened up about the backlash he received after being cast as Mister Fantastic (Reed Richards) in Marvel’s upcoming film The Fantastic Four: First Steps. In a recent interview, the actor revealed that he’s well aware of the criticism, with some fans saying he’s “too old” or “not right” for the role.

Pedro admitted this is the most pushback he has ever experienced in his career. While he hasn’t seen the final cut of the movie yet, he’s excited about how the team has poured their hearts into the project.

Known for his roles in The Mandalorian and The Last of Us, Pedro also shared that stepping into the Marvel universe has been a bit nerve-wracking. Thankfully, he’s been getting support from none other than Robert Downey Jr., who has been guiding him with warmth and encouragement.

Fantastic Four: First Steps Release Date

The Fantastic Four: First Steps is a highly anticipated superhero film that draws inspiration from the same-titled superhero group in Marvel Comics. A revival of the Fantastic Four series, it is the thirty-seventh movie in the Marvel Cinematic Universe and the initial entry of Phase Six. The film will be released on July 25, 2025.

What Fantastic Four: First Steps Is All About?

Against the lively setting of a retro-futuristic world inspired by the 1960s, "The Fantastic Four: First Steps" unveils Marvel's First Family—Reed Richards/Mister Fantastic (Pedro Pascal), Sue Storm/Invisible Woman (Vanessa Kirby), Johnny Storm/Human Torch (Joseph Quinn), and Ben Grimm/The Thing (Ebon Moss-Bachrach) as they encounter their greatest challenge to date.

Juggling their identities as heroes with the power of their familial connection, they are tasked with protecting Earth from a voracious cosmic deity named Galactus (Ralph Ineson) and his mysterious Herald, Silver Surfer (Julia Garner). And if Galactus' scheme to consume the whole planet and all its inhabitants wasn't terrible enough, it takes a turn that feels extremely personal.

How did the Fantastic Four get their powers?

The Fantastic Four acquired their abilities after encountering a burst of cosmic radiation during a test flight of a spacecraft prototype. Reed Richards, Sue Storm, Johnny Storm, and Ben Grimm were on board when the ship suddenly encountered the radiation. The exposure led to significant genetic changes, bestowing upon them extraordinary superhuman powers.

With a fresh cast, bold storyline, and a showdown with Galactus, Fantastic Four: First Steps might just be the MCU’s next big leap. July 25 can’t come soon enough!
