Cast Of CID New Season

Aditya, Shivaji, and Dayanand were part of the original show's main cast, and they are set to make a return. Dinesh Phadnis portrayed Inspector Fredricks, while Narendra Gupta played Dr Salukhe in addition to them. Regrettably, Phadnis passed away in December of the previous year. At the moment, it is uncertain if Gupta will reprise his role as the notorious forensic specialist Dr RP Salukhe.

Along with Aditya Srivastava, Dayanand Shetty, and Shivaji Satam, the original series included other actors such as Hrishikesh Pandey playing Sr Inspector Sachin, Ansha Sayed as Inspector Purvi, Vivek Mashru as Sub-Inspector Vivek, and Shraddha Musale portraying Dr. Tarika in CID. When discussing the character and the famous show, Shetty mentioned, “Certain characters remain deeply ingrained in the memories and affections of the audience, and Daya is definitely one of them." I'm feeling so grateful for the love and admiration that keeps coming my way, even after all this time. About the Show 

CID aired from 1998 to 2018, spanning 20 years, as a police procedural show developed by BP Singh. The show was underproduced by s and Pradeep Uppoor for Fireworks Production. It is commonly seen as a cult favorite and brought the actors great fame and adoration.

New promo & release date

Sony released a new promotion showcasing Dayanad Shetty's character Daya. He makes a classic comeback, displaying his distinctive style by smashing a door to apprehend the criminals. In the CID promo, Daya declares, "Even enemies could not destroy me, I have returned to fight for myself and to remind those who have forgotten - 'Daya is back!'"

The caption on the Instagram promo reads, "No matter how many doors the criminal closes, they will not escape Daya!" along with the premiere date. CID is set to return to Sony TV on December 21, 2024. The show will be broadcasted on Saturdays and Sundays at 10 PM.
