The time slip drama, which took the world by storm on tvN and Viki, was initially passed over by Netflix. However, just two months after its finale, it is making a triumphant return as a highly anticipated addition to Netflix's K-content library.

The "Sun Jae Syndrome" is poised for a global outbreak! Starring Byeon Woo Seok and Kim Hye Yoon, Lovely Runner will be available on Netflix starting August 1. The OTT platform made the announcement on July 15, sparking a fan frenzy in the comment section. While some mocked Netflix, saying it had "learned a lesson," others were simply relieved they would finally be able to watch the show. The announcement did note that availability would vary by country, so fans will need to wait for the official list of regions where the show will be available.

Where to stream Lovely Runner?
Currently, fans can stream the show exclusively on multiple platforms: TVING (Korea), U-Next (Japan), Vidio (Indonesia), Viki, and Viu (selected regions). The series premiered on its home channel, Total Variety Network, on April 8 and enjoyed a successful run until May 28, earning impressive ratings.
On Viki, the show has resonated well with global audiences, achieving the highest weekly viewership among 2024 dramas. The Byeon Woo Seok starrer became so popular that it reached the No. 1 spot in viewership ratings across 130 regions during its sixth week of broadcast, according to Rakuten Viki. With its imminent release on Netflix, Lovely Runner is poised to capture the hearts of even more viewers around the world.
