Selena Gomez may not have attended the 2021 Met Gala, but her fans did and it created an awkward situation for her ex Justin Bieber, who walked the red carpet with his wife Hailey Bieber. A viral video shows Selenators calling his name while entering the red carpet for Justin and Hailey for their Met Gala debut as a married couple this year.
According to Reports Justin and Hailey made fun of Selena's cheers as they headed to the event. A video circulating on social media shows that neither Hailey nor Justin interact when they face loud cheers from fans chanting "Selena."
Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez ended their on-and-off relationship in 2018, and while the duo has clearly since gone on to marry Hailey, it seems fans of the duo aren't quite ready to leave their significant another behind just yet Date.
Selena Gomez, who has been busy recently promoting her new show, Only Murders in the Building, was not present at this year's Met Gala. The last time the singer walked up the stairs was in 2018.
As for the Biebers' first Met Gala together as a couple, Justin and Hailey made an adorable couple, as they were seen in black twins and got a bit of Hollywood glamor with their looks. Previously, the couple was also seen attending the Video Music Awards together, with Justin taking the honors for Artist of the Year and Best Pop Video. Hailey was seen gently cheering him on as he took home top honors.
