After nearly nine months of searching, Indian Idol 12 has finally crowned the winner, Pawandeep Rajan. The 'Greatest Finale', which started at 12 noon on Independence Day and ended with rulers Himesh Reshammiya, Anu Malik, and Sonu Kakkar handing out the illustrious trophy and a car and a check of Rs 25 Lacs to the champion. Pawandeep said Indian Idol is a platform that shows artists a lot of respect and the insight it provides is unparalleled. They managed to sing several songs during the show, and the best judges and guests directed them. It wasn't his desire to win that brought him back to the arena, but his greed to learn. And he's grateful that after months of working in concert, everyone is ready to play.
Arunita Kanjilal and Sayli Kamble were selected as 1st and 2nd out of the top 6 finalists and got a check for Rs.5 lakhs each. Mohammed Danish and Nihal Tauro, the third and fourth runners-up, each took home a check for Rs. 3 lakhs. All the top six contestants received a check of Rs. 75,000 Raj Superwhite soaps and gift baskets are from Colgate and Denver, respectively.
The top six nominees - Pawandeep Rajan, Arunita Kanjilal, Mohd Danish, Nihal Tauro, Sayli Kamble, and Shanmukhapriya.— gave some magnificent performances on the 75th episode of one of the longest-running singing reality shows.
They were joined by famous singers Sukhwinder Singh, Mika Singh, Amit Mishra, Kumar Sanu, Javed Ali, Alka Yagnik, Udit Narayan, who wowed the crowd with their heinous acts.
Guests included Sidharth Malhotra, Kiara Advani, WWE Champion Khalil, the main duo of Bade Achhe Lagte Hain, Nakuul Mehta, and Disha Parmar, among others, for the 12-hour climax.
Bharti Singh and Harsh Limbachiyaa, a notable TV couple, joined the team in a special and everyone was in stitches. Southern star Vijay Deverkunda also sent a video of his tribute to his favorite Shanmukhapriya, which made the young singer blush. Aditya Narayan and Jay Bhanushali co-hosted the Grand Finale.
