Bollywood actor Ajay Devgn has announced the new Hindi version of the 2021 Telugu-language criminal court drama 'Naandhi' . On Friday, the actor took to his Instagram account to make an announcement saying, "It's time to share an important story with everyone." In his message, Ajay also stated that famous southern film producer Dil Raju will be the producer of the remake. Naandhi film follows the life of telugu actor Surya Prakash (Allari Naresh) and Varalaxmi Sarathkumar, a convicted prisoner falsely accused of murder, awaiting trial.

The film was originally starring telugu actor and actress Alari Naresh and Varalaxmi Sarathkumar, and was released in February 2021. Priyadarshi, Harish Uthman, Vinay Varma and Praveen also had supporting roles.

After that,bollywwod actor Ajay Devgn has "Maidan" in his list of projects, where he will train for the role of football coach. He will also be seen playing pivotal roles in films such as SS Rajamouli's masterpiece "RRR" and bollywood actress Alia Bhatt starrer "Gangubai Kathiawadi" directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali. In both films, he will be seen sharing screen space with Alia Bhatt. The bollywood actor is also set to make his digital debut.
