Hockey legend Balbir Singh Senior has suffered from two cardiac arrests and is still in critical condition. His maternal Grandson Kabir on Tuesday said that “Nanaji suffered from two cardiac arrests yesterday. His condition is not deteriorated since then but continues to be very critical and is on a ventilator”.
Kabir further added that he is under observation and continuously under doctors' supervision in ICU.
The 96-year-old was hospitalized on Friday evening with the issue of a very high fever.
He is a triple Olympic medallist who has suffered a cardiac arrest on Tuesday morning and is on a ventilator since then.
In January 2019, he was discharged after 108 days spending in the hospital from PGIMER, Chandigarh, he was under the treatment of bronchial pneumonia.
