The starry affair that was- Sonam Kapoor and Anand Ahuja’s Mehendi!
One of the most talked about trendy topic recently is Anand Ahuja and Sonam Kapoor’s wedding. The festivities began on May 7, 2018, at Sonam’s pad situated in Sunteck Signature Island at Bandra Kurla Complex. The invite read “We look forward to sharing a wonderful noon of revelry at the Mehendi celebration of Sonam and Anand”. The bride-to-be Sonam looked ravishing in her Anuradha Vakil lehenga, which she complimented with big earrings and Anand Ahuja wore an achkan that flattered him pretty well. The Kapoors have shared several photos and videos of the occasion which clearly proved everyone had a phenomenal time at the Mehendi ceremony. The star-studded guest list included Late actress Sridevi's daughters Janhvi and Khushi Kapoor who looked stunning in Manish Malhotra’s designed outfits. Other celebs also included Karan Johar who is even said to be performing in the sangeet ceremony, Rani Mukerji and Kirron Kher. The couple will get married on Tuesday i.e May 8, 2018, as per the Sikh customs and traditions and a grand wedding reception will be head later in the evening. The wedding announcement was made by both the families of the bride and the groom in a joint statement which said,
"The Kapoor and Ahuja families, take great joy and pride, in announcing the marriage of Sonam and Anand. The wedding will take place on the 8th of May in Mumbai. Since it is an intimate affair, we request you to respect the family's need for privacy. Thank you for all your blessings and love, as we celebrate this special moment in our lives."
