The most awaited movie from January 2019 list, ‘Uri: The Surgical Strike’ is all set to make you revisit the historical surgical strike by India! It followed one of the most explicitly roguish &criticalincidents from the tensions in Himalaya, terrorist attack in Uri Army Base Camp. This time Indian army took the fight to the enemy and created history with one of the most successful covert operations in history. The strike was for to avenge the death of our soldiers. The movie is set to hit the halls on 11th January 2019.

  • Saare Jahan Se Achha

Biopic of the famous Indian Astronaut Rakesh Sharma has been doing a lot of rounds in media right now. The film was first rumored to star Amir Khan with Priyanka Chopra in lead roles, but that's a past thing now. Reports have confirmed that it is none other than Shahrukh Khan in the lead. The ‘King of Bollywood’ needs to get accustomed to extreme condition to prep for this film and he is rumored to be in Russia for all this. Imagine the outburst when you will get to hear Rakesh Sharma describing India from the space in the words of ‘SaareJahan Se Achha…..’ The film is set to release later this year.

  • Vikram Batra Biopic

Biopic of Kargil martyr Vikram Batra is expected to go on floors later this year. Sidharth Malhotra is the one to reprise the role of our hero from the Kargil war of 1999. Captain Vikram Batra, also known as the Sher Shah of Kargil, sacrificed his life for the country but made sure the victory was closing to Indian hands.  The war was fought between India and Pakistan is a historic one, and many times we have seen a movie on it. Sidharth Malhotra seems to be working out a lot to make this movie perfect as he admitted that this character is the toughest he has ever played. Also, he added that the family of Captain Vikram Batra are aware of this fact the Sidharth is playing the lead role which has made the actor even more excited and work out harder.

All we are waiting for the historical line to be heard in the halls – “Either I will come back after hoisting the tricolor (Indian flag) or I will come back wrapped in it, but I will be back for sure……..YehDil Mange More.”

‘Parmanu: The Story of Pokhran’ and ‘SatyamevaJayate’ witnessed a stunning performance from actor John Abraham, and he is back again this year with another patriotic film in the lining. The film revolves around the infamous, real-life encounter, known as Operation Batla House’ in Delhi on 19th September 2008. The operation ended up in catching the IM terrorists who were responsible for the five serial bomb attacks that year. Nikhil Advani will be directing this film and it is all set to roll on the floors on 15th August 2019.
