On 21 June 2026, the makers released a new poster of the film, Toxic: A Fairy Tale For Grown-Ups on social media. The poster revealed that the film is now scheduled to release on 26 August 2026 in theaters.

About Toxic
Directed by Geetu Mohandas, the movie Toxic features Yash in dual roles alongside Kiara Advani, Tara Sutaria, Huma Qureshi, Nayanthara, Rukmini Vasanth, and more in significant parts. The fantasy action drama movie signifies Yash's comeback to cinemas after a four-year hiatus. The actor's most recent appearance was in the film KGF 2, which became a major hit, earning over Rs 1200 crore globally at the box office.
Besides Toxic, Yash has Ramayana in development as well. The film by Nitesh Tiwari features Ranbir Kapoor portraying Lord Rama, Sai Pallavi as Sita, Sunny Deol as Lord Hanuman, and Ravie Dubey as Lakshman. The movie is set to come out in two segments, with the first hitting theaters on Diwali 2026 and the second on Diwali 2027.

The film was filmed concurrently in Kannada and English and will be dubbed and released in various Indian languages, such as Hindi, Malayalam, Telugu, and Tamil.
