Yash’s Toxic Postponed Again

'Toxic' is one of the most-awaited Yash’s films as he is back on the big screens after 4 Years.. Those who don’t know, earlier the film was scheduled to release on 19 March 2026 but due to box office clash with Aditya Dhar’s Dhurandhar 2 and Iran-US war, the makers changed the date and announced that the film is now release on 4 June 2026.

On Wednesday (29 Apr), the makers rescheduled its release date for the second time via a social media post on Instagram.

It stated that - There are films we make, and then there are films that remind us why we fell in love with cinema. Toxic has been one such journey. Presenting our film at CinemaCon and witnessing the overwhelming global response reaffirmed what we have always believed - that this film deserves to reach its fullest potential worldwide.

Reason Behind Toxic’s Multiple Delays

The choice comes after the film's showing at CinemaCon, where it garnered a robust and positive reaction from international distributors and industry participants. The reception created possibilities for a much broader international launch, leading the team to reassess and adjust their release plan.

Now that the film is finished, the creators are concentrating on finalizing global distribution and establishing important international partnerships to guarantee that Toxic reaches audiences in various markets at the scale it requires.

Directed by Geetu Mohandas, Toxic: A Fairy Tale For Grown Ups is originally a Kannada film which features Yash in lead role. Along with him, we will see other well-known actors like Nayanthara, Huma Qureshi, Kiara Advani, Tara Suttaria, and Rukmini Vasanth.

Yash’s Toxic shot in Kannada and English and audiences can also watch its dubbed versions in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu and Malayalam-languages.

What Yash Said About Toxic Movie?

In an interview, Yash revealed that it is the first time that the crew has filmed the movie in English language.

"It’s not your usual gangster action story." On the surface, it may seem like a gangster film filled with action, but it contains profound psychology and intriguing aspects of human existence that you can relate to, presenting a dark character in a strikingly unique manner," Yash remarked.

Toxic’s delay may test fans’ patience, but it clearly shows the makers are aiming for a grand global release. Now, expectations are even higher for this ambitious project.
