With three days remaining until its release, the movie is poised to achieve significant pre-sales nationwide. The movie features Rukmini Vasanth, Rishab Shetty, Sapthami Gowda and others.
The film will encounter box office rivalry from Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari, starring Janhvi Kapoor, Varun Dhawan, Rohit Saraf, Sanya Malhotra, and Maniesh Paul, which has allegedly reserved about 4,500 tickets ahead of time, emphasizing Kantara’s initial advantage.

The creators of Kantara Chapter 1 have heavily invested in an extensive battle sequence, developed in partnership with national and global experts. The sequence featured more than 500 trained soldiers and 3,000 individuals, shot over 45–50 days on a 25-acre rough landscape, making it among the biggest action sequences in Indian film.
Set to be released globally on October 2, Kantara Chapter 1 will be shown in Kannada, Hindi, Telugu, Malayalam, Tamil, Bengali, and English.
Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari is an upcoming Hindi romantic comedy produced by Dharma Productions. The film is scheduled to be released in theaters on 2 October 2025, aligning with the Dussehra celebration.
