Storyline of Surrender Movie 

“Surrender” is a unique Tamil crime thriller directed by director Gowthaman Ganapathy, in which Tharshan Thiyagarajah will be seen as a police SI for the first time. Tharshan also trained with police officers for two weeks to bring his character to life, which brings realism to his role. Veteran actor Lal, in the role of police officer “Periasamy”, adds moral heft and strength to the film.

The story takes place against an election backdrop where a gun goes missing during the posting of a trained SI and a mysterious web is woven around it. Over the next five days, the stories of a young police team and a feared gangster collide, as their struggle comes to a head amid deceit, quest for justice, emotional conflict and political turmoil.

A Goan colourful crime-drama, the film keeps the audience captivated till the very end with its intense background score and cinematography, and the story entangled in political twists finally reaches a bold and impactful conclusion. Expected Box Office Collection of Surrender ( Tamil) Movie 

Surrender is a Tamil crime thriller which may have a NK budget but the content-focused direction may help it deliver a strong gross. Recent crime thrillers like Kuberaa earned around Rs 15 crore on the first day and a total of Rs 137 crore worldwide.

If Surrender receives a good response in October‑November and the positive word‑of‑mouth sustains, it has the potential to open with Rs 8–12 crore and collect Rs 25-40 crore worldwide and Rs 40–60 crore globally. Of course, the exact figures will depend on the response, reviews and release timing but being a content-driven Maoist film, it could perform strongly on a mid-budget budget.
