Welcome To The Jungle Review - Audience POV
Welcome To The Jungle gaining both positive and negative reviews on social media. Let’s read what people have written after watching the film.
A user wrote, “As the great filmmaker used to say, a commercial movie needs to have a highlight sequence every 10 minutes. This is what happens here as comedy, action, music peppers the screenplay and then gets into a repeat mode to ensure that there is no dull moment.”

If Manmohan Desai had made Sholay with Amar Akbar Anthony then he would have made Welcome To The Jungle.

Another wrote, “ The entire second half is quite boring and underwhelming. Most of the laughs feel forced, and the film tries to cash in on iconic moments from Hera Pheri and the climax of Welcome, but none of it really lands. That said, there are still a few genuinely entertaining portions.”

Should You Watch It - Our POV
What works:
- The first half of the movie is filled with comedy, chaos, and laughter.
- Akshay Kumar played a fantastic job in the film with his funny expressions and dialogues.
- Despite a long star-stubbed cast, not a single actor feels wasted.
- The songs didn't feel that impressive on YouTube, but on the big screen they hit completely differently. The music adds tremendous energy.

What Doesn’t work:
- Some jokes fall flat and there are few scenes which are absolute cringe.
- The entire second half is quite boring and underwhelming.
- Even though the characters are actors, showing them begging and pleading with terrorists while wearing Indian Army uniforms was in poor taste.
- VFX is terrible, a lot of green screens are used and in one scene, the body double of Akshay Kumar is visible.
Welcome To The Jungle doesn't reach the level of the original Welcome, but it offers enough laughs and entertaining moments to keep audiences engaged. If you're looking for a fun weekend comedy with a star-studded cast (when you have no other option), you can go for Welcome To The Jungle.
