The 3-minute Peddi trailer indicates that the setting is Vijayanagaram, Andhra Pradesh. Peddi is presented as the beloved athlete of the village, no matter the sport's title. During the shoot, he sustained three separate injuries, including a serious impact during an intense wrestling scene and another injury that needed stitches close to his eye. Surprisingly, he was back on the sets the next day after receiving stitches and depended on ongoing physiotherapy to continue filming without any compromises.
