Aditya Rawal was born on September 28, 1993. He is a son of Paresh Rawal and Swaroop Sampat. Both of his parents are prominent figures in Indian cinema and theatre.

Aditya Rawal is an actor by profession. But he steps into Bollywood as a writer and assistant not an actor. Aditya made his official acting debut as the lead in Bamfaad alongside Shalini Pandey.

Family Background

Paresh Rawal, his father, is one of Bollywood's most adaptable actors and a recipient of the National Film Award, celebrated for a range of performances from serious dramas to memorable comedic roles.

His mother, Swaroop Sampat, possesses a similarly intriguing narrative. Prior to her acting career, she was titled Miss India in 1979 and subsequently established herself in television, theatre, and social work.

Aditya Rawal started his journey in 2012 as a child artist in the movie ‘Ferrari Ki Sawaari’. Subsequently, he took on a supporting role in his father's movie ‘OMG - Oh My God!’. In 2017, Aditya began his role as a writer for the short film ‘The Mailbox’, where he also performed. In 2019, he contributed to Ashutosh Gowariker’s movie ‘Panipat’ and in 2023 for his father's film ‘Dear Father’.

In 2020, he appeared alongside Shalini Pandey in the romantic action movie 'Bamfaad', directed by Ranjan Chandel, in which he portrayed the main character, a Muslim teen named Nasir Jamal. His role in the movie received much acclaim.

In 2022, he debuted in a web series titled ‘Teerandaz’, portraying the character Sarju. Subsequently, he portrayed Nibras, a university student, with Zahan Kapoor in the movie ‘Faraaz’, earning the Filmfare Award for Best Male Debut.

In 2023, Aditya portrayed Chhota Babban, inspired by Chhota Rajan, in the Amazon Prime series ‘Bombay Meri Jaan’, sharing the screen with Avinash Tiwary and Kritika Kamra.
