The story starts with Ayesha talking to her mom and dad, telling them that she has a boyfriend, she truly loves him, and she will marry him.

But she admits one problem — he is a little older than she is. Her parents are modern thinkers, so her father says, It’s okay, beta, a small age gap doesn’t matter, but they have no idea how big the actual age difference between Aashish and Ayesha really is. The next day, on Ayesha’s request, Aashish comes to her house to meet her parents. The moment Ayesha’s parents see Ajay Devgn, they get shocked because he is much older — he is 50 years old, while Ayesha is 28.

Then comes the comedy scene when Aashish touches Ayesha’s mom’s feet and says, “Namaste mummy ji,” and she gets shocked because she feels Aashish is their age. Ayesha had hidden Aashish’s real age from her parents, yet somehow, they try to accept the situation. Then Aashish talks to his friend, and his friend advises him, “Impress her parents, they will agree.”

This begins a series of comedy scenes where Aashish goes to Ayesha’s house early in the morning and starts making tea and breakfast. Her parents get extremely shocked seeing him so early. Then Aashish again slips and calls Ayesha’s mom bhabhi ji, which leaves her stunned again Bhabhi ji? After this, the movie continues with lots of comedy and drama. But after some time, Ayesha’s parents decide that this relationship must end.

Ayesha’s dad talks to another man and invites him to impress Ayesha so that she leaves Aashish. This is when Madhavan enters the story. From here, the real chaos begins as both men try to win Ayesha’s heart. In the end, Madhavan actually succeeds in impressing Ayesha. Then comes the wedding day, where heavy drama unfolds and intense moments happen between Ayesha’s dad and Aashish. The movie is filled with comedy, drama, and emotional twists from start to finish.
