Delhi Crime is a crime drama television series focused on police procedures, created and directed by Richie Mehta. The first season of the Emmy-winning series Delhi Crime took place in the aftermath of the 2012 Delhi gang rape, while the second season revolved around the Chaddi Baniyan Gang. Story Of Delhi Crime Season 3
This season tracks DCP Vartika Chaturvedi (Shefali Shah) and her squad as they expose a vicious human trafficking ring functioning throughout Delhi. What starts as a missing person case quickly escalates into a high-pressure pursuit that challenges the boundaries of legality, ethics, and human compassion. The story examines the inner turmoil within the police force — their individual challenges, sacrifices, and the emotional weight of their duties.

Shefali Shah As Vartika
Shefali has received multiple awards for Delhi Crime, such as the Best Actress title at the Asian Academy Creative Awards five years back. Nonetheless, she mentioned that embodying Vartika’s character is never effortless. “Whenever I sense this is a coincidence.” "It's similar to feeling like an impostor," she remarked. “I genuinely feel that when the director says ‘action,’ I will simply freeze, as if he’s using a different language.”

Delhi Crime Season 3 is set to premiere on Netflix starting November 13, 2025. In 2020, it was awarded the International Emmy Award for Best Drama Series, and in 2023, Shefali Shah received a nomination for Best Actress.
