In Season 1 of Maxton Hall, Damian Hardung’s affluent character James Beaufort initially clashes with scholarship student Ruby Bell (Herbig-Matten). Upon discovering that James’ twin sister was involved with a teacher, James attempted to bribe Ruby into keeping quiet, but Ruby insisted she had no intention of revealing the scandalous information.

Wary of Ruby, James perpetuates their mutual dislike, but after they spend time together, learn about one another, and acknowledge their feelings, they become romantically involved. Maxton Hall The World Between Us Season 2 is set to debut on November 7, 2025 on Prime Video, featuring its first three episodes. Season 2 will consist of six episodes, similar to Season 1. The next three episodes will be released weekly on Wednesdays until November 28.
