This superhero film stars Joseph Quinn, Vanessa Kirby , Ebon Moss-Bachrach, and Paul Mescal in lead roles. The story is about four scientists who get superpowers after being exposed to cosmic rays during a mission and then take up the responsibility of saving the world.

A funny moment during the shooting of the film came when the team perfected a comedy scene after 42 takes. The VFX team said that the digital model of 'The Thing' was the most complex ever. 2. Mahavatar Narsimha

Mahavatar Narsimha, a grand mythological-action film releasing in theaters on 25th July 2025, is based on the divine saga of Narasimha, the fourth incarnation of Lord Vishnu. Prabhas will be seen as Lord Narasimha in this film, while Ashwin Kumar, rudra paratap ghosh and jayapurna das will be seen in the role in this movie. The story depicts the period when the atrocities of the demon king Hiranyakashipu were at their peak and tested the faith of the devotee Prahlad, Lord Narasimha incarnated in the form of half human, half lion and established dharma.

A special moment on the sets of the film was when 300 actors shot a war scene in one take, while Prabhas underwent 6 months of training for his role, especially for his make-up and action scenes. Mahavatar Narsimha will not only give the audience a spiritual experience but will also be a confluence of visuals and emotions. 

3. Hari hara veera mallu

Hari Hara Veera Mallu, a powerful South Indian (Telugu) period-action film releasing on 24 July 2025, will take the audience to a unique world of history, heroism and adventure. Maareesan is a South Indian (Tamil) fantasy-thriller film releasing in theaters on 25 July 2025, which presents a thrilling amalgamation of mystery, power and mythology. The film stars Dhanush in the lead role, playing a mysterious warrior role in this film.. Along with him, Keerthy Suresh and SJ Suryah will also be seen in lead roles. The story is about a warrior who has lived for centuries and fights against time to protect an ancient power.

An interesting moment on the sets of the film was when Dhanush shot an entire action scene for 7 minutes continuously without any cuts, while the director revealed that the background score of the film was created by combining traditional instruments and modern sound design and mixing it for 60 days. Maareesan is a cinematic experience that takes Tamil cinema to a whole new level, leaving the audience spellbound.

5. Thalaivan Thalaivii

Thalaivan Thalaivii is a South Indian (Tamil) political-drama movie releasing on 25 July 2025, which brings the story of power, struggle and sacrifice to the big screen. The film stars Arvind Swamy as a powerful political leader, while Trisha Krishnan will be seen as his wife and political aide. The story is about a charismatic leader who sacrifices his life for the people, but has to face betrayal, intrigue and internal rifts in the game of power.

A special moment during the shooting was when a political speech scene was shot in one take in front of a live crowd of over 500 junior artists, and on the other hand, the climax scene of the film was shot over a period of 20 days so that every emotional layer can be shown perfectly. 6. Goodbye mountains

Goodbye Mountains is a beautiful East Indian (Bengali) drama film releasing on 25 July 2025, which depicts a sensitive story of nature, roots and self-discovery. The film stars Indranil sengupta and Rituparna sengupta in the lead roles. The story revolves around a photographer who goes on a journey to relive his old memories of the mountains but along the way, he also finds answers to the unanswered questions of his life.

The film was shot in the rugged hilly terrains of Darjeeling and Sikkim, where, during one scene, the entire unit had to stay put for 12 hours because of a sudden change in weather. On the other hand, the director said that there was only a 20-minute time window to shoot the climax scene in the golden hour, which the team captured perfectly. Goodbye Mountains is a quiet, yet deep film that touches the soul. 

7. Sarzameen

Sarzameen is a Hindi action-thriller film releasing on 25th July 2025, which will stream on JioHotstar. The film is the story of a sensitive soldier who puts his duty above personal relationships to protect the country. Prithviraj Sukumaran, Kajol and Ibrahim Ali Khan will be seen in lead roles in the film. The story is set in the backdrop of Kashmir, where the spirit of patriotism is mixed with the emotional conflict between an army officer, his wife and son.

The story revolves around a mysterious kidnapping in the picturesque valleys of Himachal, Manali and Shimla. where the sister of a woman reaches the police station and the layers of the secret crime slowly get revealed.

Bandook is an interesting South Indian (Kannada) crime-drama film directed by Mahesh Ravikumar, releasing in theaters on 25 July 2025. The film stars Gopalkrishna Deshpande, Balaji Manohar and Parthake in the lead roles.

The story revolves around the brutal murders reported on a remote river island, where a dedicated investigation team and a combative inspector unravel the deep tragedy and crime.
