Special Ops Season 1 Story

To begin with, Special Ops is a Hindi-language action thriller drama which premiered on 12 November 2021. The drama features Kay Kay Menon as Himmat Singh, playing the role of a RAW officer. He believes that there is only one man (mastermind) behind all the major attacks in India.

As Himmat's retirement nears, auditor Abbas Sheikh is called to review his career. The story takes us back to the time after the 2001 Parliament attack when Himmat chases terrorist Ikhlaq Khan in Delhi. Abbas helps him, breaking orders from his seniors — but the mission fails, and both are suspended.

Later, Himmat forces Joint CP Chautala to cancel Abbas's suspension. Himmat then briefly disappears but is seen in Kashmir chasing fresh leads. RAW soon recalled him for a new case involving Vinayak Shukla, an Indian official in Colombo, who was honey-trapped by Karishma and leaked critical national secrets. Shukla, realizing his mistake, ends his life.

Himmat teams up with his friend Vijay Kumar, an ex-army officer, to dig deeper. Meanwhile, Mathur is assigned to track and eliminate Maninder — a former RAW officer turned traitor — and recover leaked documents.
