With David Corenswet as the newest Man of Steel in James Gunn unveiled the first trailer for Superman has been formally unveiled. Corenswet takes on the iconic character of Clark Kent, Earth’s unwavering guardian, offering a new perspective on the famed superhero.
In the two minutes and 59 seconds trailer, we observe that Clark, also known as Superman, is grappling with numerous challenges, including his role as a journalist and a superhero. We also observe that his girlfriend and fellow journalist Lois Lane (portrayed by Rachel Brosnahan) is aware of his superhero identity.

About Superman 2025 Film
For those unfamiliar, this marks the first film in the franchise since Zack Snyder’s Man of Steel (2013), and it officially launches Gunn and Peter Safran’s new DC Universe, which was formerly named Superman: Legacy.
In both the teaser and trailer, Krypto the Superdog has significant screen time as he saves an injured Superman and pulls him to the Fortress of Solitude. The upcoming movie will feature Skyler Gisondo in the role of Jimmy Olsen, Anthony Carrigan as Metamorpho, Isabela Merced as Hawkgirl, Edi Gathegi as Mister Terrific, and Nathan Fillion portraying Guy Gardner.
