Mere Husband Ki Biwi may have some shortcomings, yet it possesses good intentions at its core. The movie delivers its central message effectively without compromising on entertainment value. Once more, a shoutout is given to Arjun Kapoor, Bhumi Pednekar, and Harsh Gujral.
Mudassar Aziz has successfully crafted a charming family film that conveys a significant message, despite some slight imperfections. The tracks, particularly the version of ‘Gori Hain Kalaiya’ from Aaj Ka Arjun, shine as an energetic tune. The other songs that resonate are ‘Ikk Vaari’, ‘Rabba Mereya’, and ‘Channa Tu Bemisal.’
Mere Husband Ki Biwi Cast Performance
Arjun Kapoor displays the perfect level of vulnerability in his acting. He appears charming in the moments when his character alternates between a devoted romantic and at times seems rather foolish. However, he also excels in scenes with high emotional intensity. The performers put forth a true effort in this one. Rakul Preet Singh appears captivating and lively in her role. Nonetheless, she excels further in the latter half as the tough opponent to the spirited Prabhleen.
Nonetheless, it is Bhumi who is truly a visual pleasure. She is passionate and a complete dynamo in her portrayal of Prabhleen Dhillon. Nonetheless, underneath all the chaos, her persona illustrates the tale of numerous women who frequently encounter a heartbreaking tipping point in their marriages.

There’s always excitement when she’s on the screen. Harsh Gujral's first performance is striking, particularly in the humorous moments. He successfully maintains a high entertainment level with his eccentric dialogue delivery and a captivating bromance with Arjun’s character. The supporting cast, including Dino Morea, Shakti Kapoor, Mukesh Rishi, and Aditya Seal, perform admirably, but their roles suffer due to poor writing.

Director Mudassar Aziz conveyed a message that resonates with contemporary relationships and marriages. Antara and Ankur's turbulent marriage underscores the consequences of an ill-suited couple. Whether it's the woman's effort to juggle her career and her marriage or the choice to have a child amid existing conflicts, the portrayal of a strained marital life is starkly truthful.
Where Mere Husband Ki Biwi excels is in conveying the message of a past couple to move forward and acknowledge that sometimes things are simply not meant to happen. Nonetheless, this message is overshadowed by a discordant love triangle storyline in the latter half. The movie features charming supporting characters and had the potential to succeed as a family-friendly film. However, these characters succumb to poor writing.
