Three years ago, writer Kanika Dhillon introduced us to a loyal husband turned passionate lover, Rishu, portrayed by Vikrant Massey, and his feisty wife, Rani, played by Taapsee Pannu in the film "Haseen Dillruba" (2021). Harshvardhan Rane added just the right amount of spice to this love story. In the end, viewers were treated to a major twist, showcasing the thin line between love and madness. Now, with Harshvardhan aka Neel out, the pati and patni are returning with "Phir Aayi Haseen Dillruba." This time, there’s a new ‘woh’ between them, along with Neel’s uncle on Rani’s tail.

Rani and Rishu are still together, or at least trying to be, while the police are adamant about proving Taapsee's character guilty of murder. The new addition to the story is Sunny Kaushal, playing the sweet and charming Abhimanyu. In the first film, Rani was a bored housewife who believed she found love in Neel. Now, she already has Rishu. The pressing question is, what will happen when she seeks love outside her marriage once again? Adding to the intrigue is the arrival of Neel’s uncle, Mrityunjay, portrayed by Jimmy Sheirgill. This twist is a massive surprise that no fan anticipated.
