He is presently getting ready for Baby John, the action thriller supported by Atlee. The actor just shared his first poster, in which he appears menacing, on social media.
Baby John's new poster has been released
Today, February 7, Varun Dhawan took to Instagram to share the much-awaited first-look poster of his upcoming film Baby John. The poster shows Varun in full beast mode as he donned a full-hair look. Additionally, the actor was spotted with a sharp weapon in his hands. In the background, we see a menacing eye and a tongue hanging out. Varun captioned the poster, "Wait, the ride is about to get crazy. BabyJohn is coming to your nearest theaters on May 31!"
Baby John's teaser came out recently
A couple of days ago, the makers of Baby John released their much-awaited teaser which begins with a clip of several hands and a pigeon. We then see Varun sitting on a throne made of weapons. Towards the end, Varun's character can be seen mercilessly shooting several people.
Many people shared their excitement for the film on their Instagram stories. Arjun Kapoor shared the video and wrote, "Baby John is here!!! Atlee and VD make a powerful combination. Can't wait for this to hit the big screen." Janhvi Kapoor, who worked with Varun in Nitesh Tiwari's Bawal wrote: "Sorry dear John, what have you done to the baby @varundvn? This looks like fire."
Karan Johar also praised the actor and wrote, "VD is in the house! #babyjohn is killing it! Congratulations to @atlee47 and the entire team!." Meanwhile, Rohit Shetty wrote, “Welcome to the world of mass entertainer Varun. Blockbuster Loading.”
Baby John is directed by Kalees and stars Varun Dhawan, Wamiqa Gabbi, Keerthy Suresh, and others. The film will be released in theaters on May 31, 2024.
