This year a lovely Punjabi kudi Sahejmeen Kaur got her big break in Bollywood with the movie ‘Raksha Bandhan’. She played the youngest sister to Akshay Kumar’s character and with her debut, she was able to win the hearts of many. Recently, we got a chance to interact with the actress, and during the same, we got to know that people mostly recommended her to try her hand first in the Punjabi industry since she is from a Sikh family and has got the exact look for Pollywood.
Reacting to the same, Sahejmeen told us, that she really doesn’t like it when people try to put her in a box. “I like to break the stereotype. I am an actor I can work in Punjabi, Telugu, Japanese or Korean Cinema. I should not be restricted just because of my name or where I come from,” said Sahejmeen.
Having said that, when we asked her that if given a chance, who would be her dream actor to work with in Pollywood, she didn’t take even a second to spill the beans. In a jiffy, she replied, “Diljit Dosanjh.”
“His songs, acting, and screen presence are super hit. His movie ‘Jatt and Juliet’ is my all-time favourite,” added the actress. Further in the conversation, we asked Sahejmeen about her upcoming projects, to which she said, “I'm still in choosing stage. I will make formal announcements soon.”
