The film, which was a remake of Mohanlal's film of the same name, was a huge hit at the box office and left the audience fascinated. From the great cast to the story, to the acting, everything about Dresheim has managed to win hearts. As the audience eagerly awaits the sequel to the suspenseful drama, according to a recent update, Ajay Devgn and Shriya Saran have finally started filming Drishyam 2.
On social media, Ajay shared a photo from the sets of Drishyam 2 where he was seen discussing a scene with co-star Shriya and director Abhishek Pathak. For reference, actor Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior will be seen reprising his role as Vijay Salgaonkar, while Shriya will rehearse for his wife Nandini. Sharing the poster, Ajay Devgn wrote, “Can Vijay protect his family again? Filming begins on #Drishyam2 ” and left the audience wondering what the movie will offer this time around.

Meanwhile, talking about the movie, Ajay Devgn stated that he is happy to be a part of Drishyam 2 and is looking forward to the movie. He added, "I am now pleased to present another exciting story with Dreshyam 2. Vijay is a multi-dimensional character and creates an engaging narrative on screen." It is worth noting that Dreshyam was directed by Nishikant Kamat who passed away in the year 2020. Now Abhishek Kamat will lead the project.
