Ankita Lokhande gets slammed for sharing a dance video post Lata Mangeshkar's demise

The country's veteran singer and nightingale, Lata Mangeshkar recently departed for her heavenly home. The death of the singer was a great loss for the entire entertainment industry and people admire her voice. Netizens recently criticized actress Ankita Lokhande for disrespecting her legend by showing a dance video of her that day.

The actress angered netizens after she posted a video of herself on her social media account, in which she can be seen dancing in the car to Hardy Sindhu's popular song "Bijlee". Netizens criticized her for her participation on the day of legendary singer Lata Mangeshkar's death. In the video, Ankita is seen in the car with her husband. She was seen swaying to the beat of "Bijlee Bijlee".

Several users in the comments pointed out that Ankita should be mourning Lata Ji's death instead of dancing since she belongs to the same sorority.

One user wrote: "Condolences Thoda dikha lo Madam ye sab kal bhi kar sakti ho... (Madam she should offer her condolences she can do all this tomorrow)."

Another commented, "Shame on you... when the whole nation is mourning Lata Di's passing, you post videos of dancing and having fun... that's also when you're from the same brother. A slut who got fame from the death of her ex-boyfriend".

To the uninitiated, the disappearance of Lata Mangeshkar was a blow to many in the industry and across the country. The legendary singer has been hospitalized due to Covid-19. He was also diagnosed with pneumonia. She was placed on a ventilator and declared critical on February 5. She was burned with full state honors. The Government of India also declared two days of mourning as a sign of respect.

Many TV celebrities including Gaurav Khanna, Nakuul Mehta, Kapil Sharma, Hina Khan and Moni Roy have offered their condolences to the deceased soul on social media.
