Mouni Roy has all the reasons on cloud 9 today. After all, she married Suraj Nambiar at a big wedding in Goa after dating for a while. The bride arrived at the wedding destination earlier this week and the couple's pre-wedding festivities have also begun. Interestingly, Mouni held a haldi and mehndi party on January 26, and as photos and videos of the pre-wedding festivities circulated on social media, we got our hands on mehndi pictures of the actress.
It should be noted that Mouni chose a yellow dress with silver embroidery for her wedding ceremony. She completed her look with gold and pearl pendants and also wore a maang tikka. While she couldn't miss her race, Mouni made sure to write Suraj's initials on her hand in mehndi. For starters, it is part of the Indian tradition where her husband's name is written on the bride's mehndi. Keeping with tradition, Mouni had the letter 'SN', which stands for Suraj Nambiar, written on the back of her hand.

According to media reports, Suraj and Mouni, who met in Dubai, were very much in love with each other. The couple is said to have a Malayali wedding in the morning, followed by a Bengali wedding in the evening. This is because Mouni is a Bengali beauty while Suraj belongs to a Jain family from Bangalore.
