It's indeed a somber night at the 2022 Golden Globes because it is a special occasion with no celebrities, no red carpet, and no televised event. Instead, the winners were announced via social media. The reason for this is that major Hollywood studios, actors, and directors (NBC also dropped the 2022 Golden Globes!) Boycotted the award ceremony, in solidarity against the alleged corruption and racism of the foreign Hollywood press.
However, moviegoers and television fans will be delighted to learn of the big winners of the 79th Golden Globes. Topping the nominations in the film categories are Power of the Dog and Belfast with seven nominations each. while Succession takes over with five nominations in the TV categories. . Also, many are supporting the massive K-drama, Squid Game to win, which was nominated for Best TV Series - Drama, Best Performance by an Actor in a TV Series - Drama for Lee Jung Jae and Best Supporting Actor - TV. for Ao. Young Soo.
