Even though 2021 has begun painfully and we've been locked in our homes again, the second half of the year has been a big celebration. Especially when it comes to weddings. Several of our singers have decided to get married this year and have given us some wedding dress goals. While some choose to have an intimate ceremony with only their loved ones, others have their big Indian wedding. Let's take a look at the most beautiful brides of 2021.

After dating for a decade, Varun Dhawan and Natasha Dalal finally tied the knot in a small party in Alibaug on January 24, 2021. To avoid the classic red, Natasha opted for a pale gold color covered in silver and two-tone gold embroidery. The dupatta is embellished with a delicate floral border, while the sleeves feature star motifs. Dalal's lehenga came covered in intricate detailing from head to toe. She paired the ensemble with diamond jewelry that included a sparkling necklace with an emerald pendant, pearl earrings, a maang tika, and a silver kalire.

Dia Mirza married businessman Vaibhev Rekhi on February 15 in an intimate ceremony. She was wearing a red sari, she was a beautiful bride! Her saree was embellished with intricate gold embroidery all over and thick gold embellishment. She also pinned her head with a sheer red organza dupatta, which was also embroidered with gold on the edge. The actress accessorized her outfit with a traditional golden hat with green accents. She paired it with matching green and gold bracelets, maangtikka, chandelier drop earrings and completed the look with a bit of red bindi.

Yami married director Aditya Dar on June 4 in an intimate ceremony. Her classic red wedding dress belonged to her mother! The 33-year-old traditional silk saree featured intricate gold work all over. The simple saree was perfectly complementing her blouse which had floral motifs in the same gold embroidery, all over. To complete her wedding look, she added a matching red dupatta that her maternal grandmother gave her. Yami's antique jewelry included a set of real gold necklace, maangtikka and kalire adorned with cherry and coconut. The actress also included the traditional artist Pahaadi Himachali Nath, who was also gifted to her by her grandmother.

TV actress Disha Parmar married singer Rahul Vidya on July 16 in a grand Indian wedding. On her big day, she wore a stunning red lehenga by Abu Jani and Sandeep Khosla and looked like the perfect Indian bride. The lehenga featured a light pink round dupatta head adorned with beautiful abla embroidery on top of it. She also appeared in the form of "gath joda with gold detailing". Disha's head was covered with a dupatta net. She wore a huge gold necklace with intricate designs and green beads all over, she also wore a maangtikka, earrings that had to be pinned in her hair, and a large set of bangles to complete her wedding look.

Rhea Kapoor married her longtime boyfriend, Karan Boolani, on August 14 in an intimate ceremony at home. Riya abandoned the traditional red lehenga, opting for a white chandiri saree by Anamika Khanna. The saree was sprayed with gradient thread, was covered with a half sleeve blouse and finished with a cape in shades of ivory and gold. The bride made a statement by choosing a veil made of thousands of tiny pearls. She completed the look with her mother’s jewelry with a signature necklace studded with uncut diamonds, delicate mangalsutra, matching kundan jhumkas, and kadas to add the final touch.

Rajkumar Rao and Patralekha Paul married on 15th November in Chandigarh. Patralekhaa chose to wear a beautiful red Sabyasachi saree which she wore with a red dupatta as a veil. His embroidered dupatta had a beautiful message written in Bengali along the border that read: "Amar poran bhora bhalobasha aami tomaye somorpan korilam (I give you my sincere love)." She completed her look with gem-encrusted Matha matte shoes and a heavy set of necklace and earrings. She also wore some gold cassette and kondia bracelets with him.

Anushka Ranjan and Aditya Seal made the deal on November 21st between family and friends entirely in Mumbai. Anushka Ranjan ditched the traditional red, opting for a tailored purple linga for her big day. The dress featured a short cut with quarter-length sleeves, a wide U-neck, heavy embroidery on the sheer sleeves and torso, and sequin tassels at the hem. Anushka wore it with matching linga layers embellished with delicate silver embroidery. She also wore an embroidered dupatta on her head, also wrapped around her waist and shoulders. She completed the look with a diamond choker necklace, dangling earrings, and a maangtikka. Cream and silver bangles complemented the silver kaleeras and hath phool jewellery.

Katrina Kaif and Vicky Kaushal tied the knot on December 9 at the Fortress of Six Senses. Katrina wore a classic red handwoven bridal silk by Sabysachi. It is decorated with fine agricultural work and zardousi frames embroidered with velvet. According to Sabyasachi, Linga praised her boyfriend, Vicky Kaushal's Punjabi roots. Her head was covered with a custom-made hood decorated with hand-carved kirans and hand-painted silver with gold. The Tiger 3 actress paired the outfit with bridal jewelry from the same designer. Her jewelery included a heavy gold necklace studded with uncut diamonds and hand-tied pearls, matching jhumka earrings, double matha patti, traditional nath and bespoke Kaliras featuring a homing pigeon that the actress had chosen herself.

TV celebrity Ankita Lokhande cut the deal with her boyfriend, Sunny Jane, on December 14 in a lavish wedding ceremony in Grand Hyatt, Mumbai. Ankita chose a radiant gold lehenga from Manish Malhotra for her big day. The look featured a scoop neck blouse that was paired with a high waisted lehenga embroidered with Zari Khaled. The embellished bodice came with a beaded scalloped shell and cyclic embroidery. The outfit was layered with an embroidered Dori color curtain and Ankita covered her face with a long, densely decorated veil fringed with tassels. Actress Pavitra Rishta completed her look with a pair of bejeweled earrings, statement necklace, heavy choker, matha patti, gorgeous nath, set of kada bangles, and finger rings.
