Varun Dhawan's wife Natasha Dalal, mom Laali share big laugh at Lakme Fashion Week, fans call it 'saas bahu ka pyaar'

Actor Varun Dhawan's wife, fashion designer Natasha Dalal, and his mother Lali Dhawan attended a show at Lakme Fashion Week in Mumbai on Thursday. They were seen arriving at the venue sharing a great laugh.

Natasha wore a royal blue jumpsuit and carried a chestnut-colored crossbody bag over her shoulder. Lali chose a shiny silver top with black pants. A video from photographers showed Natasha collecting passes for the two of them. When she brought them to Lali, both cracked up at something. They are joined by the late director Ravi Chopra's wife, Renu Ravi Chopra. The show was attended by Monisha Jaisingh and Shweta Bachchan.

Natasha received praise from fans. One of them wrote: "The Nats look so damn pretty." Another wrote "Two Special Women in the Life of Varun Dhawan." Someone also called her "Saas bahu ka Pyaar (Love between his mother-in-law and her daughter-in-law)".

Varun Dhawan and Natasha got married earlier this year in Alibaug. The couple invited some guests, their family, and close friends, as a precaution against Covid-19. Among those who attended the wedding were directors Karan Johar and Kunal Kohli.

The two were childhood friends before they started dating. On Koffee With Karan, Varun said that he was drawn to Natasha because of her "uniqueness" and support from her. "As far as Natasha and I are concerned," he said, "I think that eventually after we get married, we get all these things together, she must have her own individuality."

"That's why I'm with her because she has her own individual personality and her own voice that is so powerful with the things she wants to do and the things she wants to achieve in life. And as her partner, that's something I want to support, you know. She has been very supportive in terms of my career, "always, from day one actually," he added.
